1991 Mocha/Mocha SHO Plus MODEL For one of the SHO Conventions, Joseph Van Oss offered to make a SHO model for charity. To give an example of what quality he was capable of, I commissioned a model of my '91 SHO to display at the convention. Joseph is a talented model maker, and he duplicated my '91 Mocha/Mocha Plus down to very exacting detail including the plus hood, spoiler and even the tinted windows that were on the car when I bought it. The interior is also highly detailed and the engine was worked over to make it much more realistic compared to the rather crude version in the AMT models available. The 1991 Mocha was a very low production paint color with something like 2500 of them being made. Out of those, maybe 1/3 had the Plus option package with plastic "power bulge" hood, trunk spoiler, 24V DOHC badges on the front fenders, black mirrors, black B and C pillars, body color accent on the lower body cladding and body color "Taurus" badge on the trunk. Here are more pictures of the actual car. NOTE, for some reason the actual pictures came out real bad, the color is washed out, the model pictures are more like the real car. Also note that the model has the "police" package grill, and the real car now has that addition.
