Date Page Last Modified: 01/11/2008 http://www.hugi.is/hahradi/bigboxes.php?box_id=51208&f_id=1000 Not for the squeamish, but VERY funny. Not in English. Worlds most graphic fork lift training movie. Team Truck Radiators, Discount Auto Radiator and Car Radiator Super Store, they appear to offer radiators for both MTX and ATX SHO's including the V8. http://www.team.net/TR8/Conversions/SHO.html Story of a Triumph TR8 retrofitted with a turbocharged SHO V6 http://ev1-club.power.net/archive/031219/jpg/after2.htm Talk about a shame! Here is what GM did with the EV1's that came off lease (with the exception of maybe 2 or 3 that went to museums.) It is a shame that this part of early electric car history had to go this way. http://www.l3xicon.com An electronic dictionary/lexicon generated using statistical analysis on internet and combined with a traditional dictionary. Good site to find other sites or related sites. http://dccarcare.com/tipowk/tipowk32.html Some neat SCCA racing pictures from our Official SHO Convention photographer, Jack Puryear, at the 2003 Runoffs. http://www.auto-makesnmodels.com/ Fun site with lots of links for all makes/models. http://www.lookatentertainment.com/v/v-174.htm Rube Goldberg lives! Not SHO related, but great to look at (big download, but well worth the wait for those without high speed connections). NEW URL works again! http://www.historychannel.com/cgi-bin/frameit.cgi?p=http%3A//www.historychannel.com/tdih/auto.html History Channel section on Automotive History, find out what happened in automotive history on this day, or on YOUR birthday. http://store.yahoo.com/dpstore/taurus2.html Looking for a new headlight for your SHO? These seem to be affordable, no guarantees about quality. http://www.stoptech.com/whitepapers/warped_rotors_myth.htm Pretty good page about brake rotors, warps, pads and how to bed them in and keep them in good shape. http://www.harborside.com/~lhumbert/probepg.html Neat site with links to many pages of motor transplants/swaps, Including several SHO motor swaps. Also check out our own SHOpages links page. http://www.molestedcars.com/ Ah, the ability of the human mind to dream up ways to "personalize" or abuse the automobile is a constant source of amusement. Here is another interesting site. http://www.hotrod.com/ Don't laugh, a lot of "sports car/sedan" autocross and tech people don't seem to regard Hot Rod Magazine highly, but have you read a copy since your pimply days? It is still the best source of good tech articles I have found. If you want to teach your son/daughter/friend or yourself about cams, carbs, injection, chassis, ignition or more, they have great tech articles that are easy to understand while being in-depth enough to really help. Some neat cars too. (And while I like a hot babe as much as the next guy, I prefer my car magazines to be about cars. Hot Rod plays the T/A, and that doesn't mean Trans Am, card a bit, but not as much as others. --Ed.) http://www.cronusmotorsports.com/tech_info/feat_quartermile.html Need to know how your times at 5000 ft altitude compare to your buddy at sea level? Go here. http://www.modelcarhub.com/ Model Car Hub - This site could be a huge benefit to model car enthusiasts, but the site is confusing and hard to navigate. Classifieds and other lists are huge, but take time to view with no alphabetical listings, and search features don't return any SHO results. Surf when you have the time. http://beaterz.com/ OK, so the car is a bit dented, odd and wierd, but it belongs to someone! Lots of fun, check out the 59 Caddy/Miata (really!) http://www.books4cars.com Helpful site where you might find that SHO Helms repair manual or other car book you just have to have, great site to shop for your car nut spouse/friend. http://rense.com/general8/boom.htm Great shot supposedly of a jet breaking the sound barrier. images/USSSTENNJET.jpg My guess is this jet jockey is in a world of hurt, great picture. http://www.tccoa.com/articles/racing/reaction.html Simple and fun drag race reaction timer. Doesn't use bulbs, but the entire screen changes color. Still, a great way to kill some time and get your reaction times down. http://web.mit.edu/wnellie/www/miniputt.swf A very nice free mini-putt golf course simulation that is fun to play and isn't a really huge download. http://carsinbarns.com/ Nothing better than Rotting American Muscle in a Barn.! Great fun, and a bit sad. Several Fords and other makes on the site. http://www.fordshows.com Listing of Ford events across the country. http://www.fordfestiva.com/Performance/shogun.html Neat page about the SHOgun with nice background information. http://www.carbotecheng.com/main.htm Carbotech brake pads. Work great in any SHO, they even have the correct size for the 96 and up 11.6" brakes. Available from many SHO specific businesses. http://jniolon.clubfte.com/ John's Moderately Interesting Web Page. About his hobby of old Ford Trucks. Good links to other Ford truck sites. ATRA (Automatic Trans Repair Assoc) Some good info that might help you in the future. FossilCars.com: Antique and Classic cars from around the world. The MercuryCapri.com website: This link takes you to their project Capri that will have SHO V8 power when completed! Check out the entire site, the Capri was one of the most fun cars for a generation of Ford/Mercury racers. Glad to see the flame still burns bright! Lincoln LS Owners Club (LLSOC): Ford hopes when SHO owners upgrade they will go to the LS. It is a fine car getting more power and a better manual soon. Check out the new national club. The Worst Drivers in Atlanta Website: Tardsite.com, (The Atlanta Roadways Digest) exposes the worst drivers in the Atlanta area, bad parking, rubbernecking, LLB's and more, great fun. Ford Owners Connection Register your Ford (or Mercury, Volvo, Mazda or Lincoln) at this site (multiple registrations allowed) and you can be kept informed directly about service, recalls and other information about your car. I don't see a "big brother" problem here, they have this information anyway, and it could be valuable. http://www.tweak3d.net/tweak/taurus/ Just in time for April Fools 2001, see what it takes to turn your typical Taurus LX into a tweaked out freak! Car of the month rotting in a barn I love the Internet! You can find anything here! Some of these might make you ill, but it's fun to see what other people throw away or let rust away. Worst Cars of the Millennium by Car Talk at Cars.com....fun reading and maybe a few nightmares! http://autotrader.com/ Autotrader.com may be the internets best used car site (at least that is what they say!) http://www.autotap.com/welcome.html For owners of 96-up Fords and other OBDII vehicles, this is the tool you need to see inside your cars diagnostics and computer! Add a laptop computer and you can see pretty much what any mechanic can see with those huge machines! http://www.draglist.com/ Great site for drag news/information and a track locator. http://home.earthlink.net/~cvlocas/wheels.html A neat listing of some stock (no Ford) and a LOT of aftermarket wheels, what they are made of, size and most important....weight. http://www.blueovalnews.com/ Blue Oval News is the "bad boy" of Ford web sites. Lots of good information and up-to-the-minute information, some may make you hot, for a lot of reasons, but it is interesting reading! http://www.edmunds.com/ Edmunds site offers new and used vehicle pricing and a VERY valuable listing of current incentives/rebates etc. Use in conjunction with the Kelly Blue Book site below to get a good picture of values. FoMoCo Obsolete Mainly about 60's Ford parts/info, but has a good club listing and current Ford news. http://nbctv.nbci.com/tonightshow/ Jay Leno's Tonight Show web site is fun, but be sure to visit "Jay's Garage" to get some insight into this very famous gearhead. He owns a SHOgun. Trivia: What did Jay drive the first day he came as permanent host of the "Tonight Show"? A SHOgun of course, he did a big burnout and parked in Johnnys spot! More Trivia: Soon after taking over, Jay showed up with both hands bandaged for several days. Why? His SHOgun caught fire and he injured his hands trying to save the car (which he did, he still owns the car). TRUTH! http://www.kbb.com Kelly Blue Book, great place to get values for selling/buying a new or used car. Use in combination with the Edmunds site to get a more accurate value. http://www.motorists.org/ The National Motorists Association led the fight to repeal the 55 mph speed limit. They also help people fight traffic tickets. Check it out.
