The shot above SHOw's just a few of the 74 Cars that raced at Hallett in 115 degree (heat index, actual temp 102) heat and LOVED it!

SHOklahoma 2001 entertained 140+ people for four days and was a success by any yardstick.  Look for a complete story in the upcoming Summer issue of S.H.O. Club magazine.  Expected mailing date by the end of August.

UPDATE! SHOklahoma fanatic Paul Thomas found the BBQ place that a bunch of us stopped at on the way to the Dallas Convention in 1994.  It was great, and I forgot to tell everyone at SHOklahoma about it.  So here is the place, if you ever get to the Tulsa area, stop in:

Billy Ray's BarBeQue on
Southwest Blvd (Old Route 66) in Tulsa.

Till then, here are a couple more pictures:

The one below is from Bob Fijal of the Gen III's lined up at the SHOw behind the hotel.

Below: Yours Truly (Ed.) plays "god" by being the "flagger" at the start/finish line.  What a trip having that black flag in your hand, you have the power of (racing) life and death in your hands!  :)

Truthfully, I messed up and didn't throw the flag on some of you (by mistake or design?) when told to do so by race control (in tower in background).
